HELP Pepper Plants turning YELLOW

My pepper plants are turning yellow and I don't know what to do.

This Spring I put 4 loads of Hourse Manure on my garden mixed with Straw, do you think this may be the problem?

I have tomatoes in the same garden soil and they are doing great.

I live in Ohio and it has been very dry this season so far, yes I have water my garden with the hose each week for the past 2 weeks for about 2 to 21/2 hours each time.

Yellowing is called chlorosis; chlorine, chlorosis, following me?

The best way to rid the water of chlorine is to just run the water into a bucket and let the bucket stand for a few hours. The Chlorine will evaporate.

Also, yellowing can be a lack of Nitrogen. Though, I would go with Scott's suggestion first. And by all means, don't use a synthetic fertilizer.

most likely its above suggestions. However I have had problems with bottom leaves yellowing due to soil splashing up on the low leaves during watering

Much the same as tomatoes that would be a fungal problem; I lose any bottom leaves on ANY of my veggie plants that start to yellow (even if it's just shaded out). Those weak leaves are a sure fire place to start a problem if there isn't one already...
