Hey there,
recently I plated some hungarian chillis. They have taken off and are growing quite well except from one bush/pot. Normally speaking and indeed the other two pots that are growing are growing straight and relatively slender However from this particular pot, they seem to curling and growing unlike the other two pots.
I have attached pictures of the other (so called normal) pots and the pot in question. Can anyone shed any light as to why this may be occuring?

There is variation in chilies depending on how hybridized it is. Actually your second chili looks more like a cayenne.
Even seeds from the same pod may have some variation in form and flavor. Jalapenos are a prime example, I stopped using Jalapeno M seeds because the variety produced 1 in 5 hot peppers on the same plant. The rest had no heat at all.
