Re: I want to see your Pepper Photos

if the photos are on your computer, you don't need to host them elsewhere. Just click on upload attachment below the typing box. It gives you a browse button to browse your computer and find the photo file.

Are you looking for pictures of the actual pepper (fruit) or of the plants, or..... ? What is your interest?

You have to be in the "full editor" mode, quick reply doesnt have it 123.

Those are beautiful, pepperhead! But OP specifically asked for pictures with variety names. Can you label any of your photos re the variety?

Rainbow,

Many, if not most of those photos have a variety listed, as well as a date. Click on the photo, and a larger photo will come up with the description, then you can just click the arrow on the photo to go to the next. Slow at first, but then it speeds up.

A wild Superchili. It is a little bigger than Hawaiian tabasco, and has about the same heat. Because it is a little bigger, I get more chilies from it. The birds will eat all the Hawaiian chilies and just leave the calyxes unless it is caged or there is something better for them to raid.

Hawaiian chili (tabasco) in its' new pot. The most popular pepper around here. It is probably about 50,000 scoville units.

Trinidad scorpion. It is in a one gallon pot and needs to be repotted. This pepper should be bigger.

This is my Anaheim Pepper plant. I have it in a 24in Round Resin Planter and it provides me with all the peppers that I need. I eat them with every meal for capsaicin to help with my arthritis. It is as hot as I can go without severe stomach problems.

Anyway I just now noticed as I was taking these photos that the bottom of a few are black similar to BER on tomatoes and I need to check that out. I grew them last year with an automatic sprinkler system that malfunctioned and over watered partly because the drain hole in the pot wasn’t big enough. This year I drilled a lot more holes and I am hand watering, but I'm still a little afraid of over watering.
