Best temps for pepper seedlings

I have cal. wonder, Pepperoncini,Jalapeno plants
leaves appear to be oversize and little thin on the stalk
of the plants.
Daytime temps about 72 and 67 at night.
The tomatoes are thriving under the same lights and temps.
What kind of temps do some of you have the best luck with.

I was thinking about moving these peppers out
to coolor temps .Temps should be about 60 with lights
on for 16 hours a day and 55 with lights off.
My research some say 55 to 65 and I seen some
places say they should be 75 to 85.
Any feedback from experienced pepper growers out their

I'm not experienced but have always read that peppers want warmer temps. Probably in the 75+ range you specified...

Well...I wasn't looking for it but I did read that after the first leaves appear, up pot and lower soil temps to 70F then when the third set of leaves come in lower to 55F for four weeks then put back up to 70F.

Never tried...just relaying what I read.

Seedlings will do fine in the 70's. If the stem is thin (leggy) it probably means you have the lights to far away. If they are under floros the lights should be no more than a few inches away from the tops of the plants.

Rule of thumb: Low light, high moisture and warm temps equal leggy plants, thin leaves. Low temps, high light, and medium moisture equals thicker stems and leaves, shorter plants.

I have my tomatoes and peppers under the same lighting system
Peppers started 2 weeks earlier than tom.
The tomatoes are 4 to 5 inches taller already.
I will raise the flat up closer on the peppers.

Soil temp should be between 75 and 80 degrees.

I started my peppers in the middle of march when the night temp in my solar greenhouse was 30 to 35 at night. The day temp was around 50 to 80. I thought at first I would not get any after 3 weeks but they came up and now I have lots of peppers and tomatoes that are tuff from the cold! I will put in a sweat chamber next year! the low temp at night did not seem to hurt my tomatoes that were started!
