YES - pepper seedlings grow roots along seedling stem

I was never sure pepper seedlings grew roots along the stem like tomatoes do -/ certainly never as readily, and sometimes they died if buried too deep.

But here’s proof that they do. This is Yellow Cap pepper seedlings

This is good to know because I wondered the same thing. Especially after having some leggy seedlings and wondering how deep I could bury them for extra support without killing them!

I think if the seedlings are very young, adventitious roots can grow but after a certain age, it would just rot if you plant the stem too deep.
