Anyone knowledgeable about PASSION FRUIT VINE/PLANT?

I'm soooo dissapointed with my passion fruit vines. :( I have had them for several years. Every winter they die off, go to seed, and a bunch pop up in very late spring again. My problem is not with the vine -- they grow abundant. My problem is not with flowering -- they are beautiful and plentiful. My problem is with the plant producing any fruit -- I never get any! The woman who innitially gave them to me had extra vines. She said hers have produced little greens fruits that turned black and then were ready to eat.

What am I doing wrong?

I grow a few varieties of Passion fruit that all produce great fruit for a few months of the year.
During the growing season I will fertilise with fish emulsion once a month until it has finished fruiting.
You can see my care instructions here

This information is for the southern hemisphere so you will have to add 6 months to the tasks.
I hope it helps.
