Can anyone pinpoint the species or cultivar of this particular hibiscus? I know there are over 200 species. This is a container plant. I am trying to put Latin names to my plant and flower photographs in an effort to learn more. Thanks in advance! :D

Tropical Hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) - a member of the Malvaceae family.

Thank you very much!

I am fairly sure this one is a Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus)?

We call this one a native hibiscus. Can you identify it?

I agree with Rose of Sharon, also known as Althea

That's a hardy hibiscus (Hibiscus moscheutos), also known as Rose Mallow and Swamp Mallow.
