Problem with sunflower’s leaves curling and other scary-looking stuff help please

In first picture, at the top of picture you can see the leaf was curled up on the sides. The other picture, the leaves of this one just look scary. You have any ideas what the problems are?

In order of likelihood imho...

- I wanna say herbicide — spray drift ? — irrigation runoff?

- ... unless you observe signs of severe infestation of sucking pests especially on underside of leaves.

- Could be disease....

General care — sunflowers are thirsty plants — be sure they are getting plenty soaked deep into the soil, as well as full sun. (these don’t explain affected plant but might be beginning stress factor for the 1st)

More info needed, amendments, fertilizers, mulch?
I don't even want to say what I thing it is. I would try growing some type of legume in the same spot to rule out persistent herbicides.
