my dahlias are blooming

Pretty!

They have to be dug up and even then, they are hard to overwinter here so I never got around to growing them myself.

Very Nice - and, a good photograph of them!

HoneyBerry, your "wetside of the Cascades" dahlias are certainly ahead of mine!

I was just out in my dahlias today, showering them with some fertilizer. None are 18" tall and a few look like they have just emerged!

I don't have to dig them up, they overwinter just fine here. Not much work really. They come back every year. They are tall so I have to provide some support, but it's easy.
Weather has been warm here. We've had some 80 degree weather already. The dahlias like that.
My yard looks nice with all the flowers blooming. The honeysuckle and the dahlias are the most beautiful.
