Ziniia Seedlings looking sad........

Hi! I am looking for some help with my zinnia seeds planted indoors 2 weeks ago. They sprouted in two days and looked TERRIFIC a week later....but all at once.....they seemed to be too tall (not getting enough light????) were either tangling up in each other, flopping over, or shriveling up? Went went wrong? Is there anything that can be done? Thanks for any help...Have a Sunny Day!!!!!

Do you have pictures? It sounds like damping off, but it's very hard to tell from a description only.

I did a little reading and sadly you are absolutely correct. I am new to starting seeds indoors. Thank you very much for your reply.....I will try again...OUTSIDE.
