Any Ideas for a Winter Bloomer?

I just made a nice sitting area out in my garden. I have a nice deep wide planter sitting empty next to the bench...I kinda want something that will bloom during the winter months . my girls want something pink, but anything colorful would due. any ideas?

wow those are beautiful. to bad I didnt check back in time...my daugter got a pink snap dragon... and a pretty little ground cover that has different color flowers...not sure how long theyll bloom for , but they are nice to look at now
