freesias

Do any of y'all grow freesias?

I ask because I have some this year which are about seven inches tall. This is as successful as I've ever been with them. No blooms yet, though.

I've heard the following about them:

a) They need cool to warm temperatures (between 40-70F) and dryness
b) They need hot temperatures ( 70+F) and water
c) They need a period of chilling before bloom
d) They need a period of warmth before bloom
e) They need a period of chilling then a period of warmth
f) They need a period of warmth then a period of chilling

LOL! You can see how some of these conflict.

What's your experience/advice? The ones I have growing have been in pots briefly outside between 40F and 80F, have been watered only a little, and have been brought inside for a few weeks.

I also have some left in pots outside that never sprouted and some who were inside only who never sprouted...all the same packages of bulbs...
