Dahlia fertilizer

I don't know the properties of my soil (acidity, alkalinity......)
Is it critical to add fertilizer to dahlias? Epson salt?
What is method of application, if deemed necesssary. Thanks

Epson salts I.e magnesium Sulphate. not necessary, very realy is in a home garden, usually its iron chelate needed.

In you case acidity, alkalinity will not mater Dahlias are like weeds as long as your soil is free draining you cant go wrong.

Use rose fertiliser, a little and often.
cheers
