Simple Sunflower Question

My sunflowers have started to bloom, but theyre not really all that tall yet (supposed to reach about 5-6 ft)...My question is, will they continue growing after flowering, or is this their height?

Probably as big (or close to that) as they will get. Not all sunflowers are created equal; this is a HUGE family and there are one footers and ten footers...

That's probably it on the height for these. Most don't put out any new blooms or keep growing after they flower once.

I love the mammoth ones myself - can't get over how tall something gets just to put out one big bloom, and be done.

Is there a variety that puts out multiple blooms on a single stem?
if so I must have it, they got about 6-8 inches tall and started blooming than all of a sudden I had 4-5 blooms per stem.
