I just got some bearded iris rhizomes and I was wondering if I should plant them now or same them for a month when it gets warmer. I live in Connecticut and it is still pretty cold right now. Also, if they should go in the sun or the shade or partial shade. thanks! Lisa

Iris are sun lovers, full sun would be best.

Planting is a little trickier. Usually they would be planted in fall. But spring is coming, I would go ahead and plant them now. They are quite cold hardy.
