In December I noticed that a lot of the bulbs in DC were starting to pop up around the bases of all the trees. Since then I have had my eyes peeled on my own gardens. Earlier this week we had temperatures in the 70s and I noticed some bulbs popping their heads up thinking it was Spring! Then today we got snow and it's currently 31 degrees!
My question is... what does this mean for my bulbs? Will they return to dormancy?
Since we bought the house 6 months ago, I'm not sure what the bulbs are exactly. I know the previous owner said she planted daffodils, hyacinths, and grape hyacinths throughout the garden, but I'm not sure of their placement. I planted alliums and daffodils in the Fall but don't see them poking out yet.

Thank you! At least it sounds like this doesn't necessarily mean eminent death for my bulbs. Hopefully they will hold out for Spring to shoot out their flowers. I'm so excited for Spring in our new house, I'll be bummed if this weather tricks all my flowers into blooming and then kills all my anticipation.
