First time growing wild flowers

I have decided that since my baby is due on he 3rd of May I will be in no condition to deal with a veggie garden. So I was thinking I would just fill my little 24x12 empty garden plot with an assortment of wildflowers. Would hate to stare at an empty dirt spot in my back yard all summer long.

Would this be very difficult to do? The location is already tilled but would likely need a lite till and some compost.

Oh how I miss those lovely bluebonnets. If only they would grow in Michigan.
Thank you for your input and will be sure to pick the right flowers for my area and stay away from those mixed bags.
