I have a corner where I would like to plant daphne "Summer Ice". Corner is on west side of house and gets afternoon sun.
I'll try to place post a picture.

There is grape growing close to this location so I don't want to take left part of the corner, but I want to remove some grass and encrease growing area.
Will appreciate any ideas about plant combinations.

Hi Galcho, how much sun does that area recieve during the day?
Grape tend to take up a lot of space so, it looks to me like you would want to plant the grape to the far side of the trellis and your Daphne on the other side. '
Though, what might be a better idea would be to plant the grapes along the back and extend the bed out by a few feet and Plant the Daphne in the center of the new extension.
Anybody else have any ideas?

Opabinia, there was a discussion about the Daphne on another thread where I gave some companion suggestions.

The potential problem I see is the western exposure for the daphne. They tend to prefer the morning sun and this site might be too intense for it.
With a western exposure, and the probabliity of sun of 6 hours or more during the hottest time of the day, just about any full sun plants would work. I would think it would be a consideration of preference of colors and form.
