Dud buds on snapdragons?

Hi,

I bought a nice, five inch pot of snapdragons a few weeks ago. It had a few blooms on it when I bought it; however, once those blooms died, all I've had are buds that refuse to bloom. I've tried to move the plant to the sunniest spot I can, but still, no luck with blooming--just alot of buds. Is it possible for buds to be duds and never open? Thanks for your input--
