Do you guys have a reliable online store for which you buy things you don't often see locally? I'm just getting the bug and am quirky about having what "everyone else has." I'll be spending hours on this forum I can already tell....

One thing I have fun with is saving the seed from my hybrid petunias, and then saving seed from those, etc. The hybrids don't breed true from seed, which means you never know what you are going to get. I have gotten some very pretty ones with nice markings, varicolored, etc (starting from solid colored parents). That way you know for sure (especially in second and later generations) that no one has petunias just like yours, because you created them. I haven't tried bagging flowers or doing anything to control the crossbreeding, just save the seeds and see what happens...
