Identifying flowers

Hi there

I'm not sure where to put this, but could anyone help me ID a couple of flowers I've taken photgraphs of please?

If that's ok, I'll post the images.

Thanks in advance.

top one is daylily. Not sure about the second one, but definitely not crocus. 3rd are some kind of daisies. Don't know 4th unless it is growing on a tree. Kind of looks like magnolia flowers:

If it isn't that, show us a picture with some leaves.

5th is water lily

6th are indeed tulips and last the dahlias

That's brilliant, thanks.

The 4th one does look to be growing on a tree. This was the original photo, although there are no leaves.

Yup, magnolia.

So these are not your plants, just things you have seen and photographed?

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Yeah, I live in a block of flats unfortunately so no scope for growing anything really.

Some of them were taken at Kew Gardens and some in Glasgow Botanic Gardens. I never thought to write down the names of them at the time.

The tulips were taken in a park in Brussels.

hmm the 2nd one is an anemone..the 3rd picture is cape daisy... the 5th is a water lily.. and the last looks like all different kinds of dahlia's.. the fire like tulips looks like banja luka's. however I think in your picture those tulips have a pointed top and the bania luka's has a rounded tip.

anyhow.. those are my thoughts. hope I helped a little.
