Martagon Lily

Hi Everyone. I've decided to try to plant Martagon Lily bulbs this fall. I have a great woodland, shaded area in my garden that needs some color and some height. The Martagon Lily seems like it would be the perfect addition to my hostas and bleeding hearts! The problem, however, is where can I find Martagon Lily bulbs to purchase????? My local sources will not have any this fall....already checked. Does anyone out there in "gardening land" know where I can find Martagon Lily bulbs to purchase that can be sent to me this fall for planting? Thanks, everybody!

Hi Amy,

I'm wondering if it has to be Lillium martagon or would any other turks cap lily do? Here's some interesting info on 'wild' lilies.

I found them here.

You can always check references here and even search by state and plant material.
