Help Identifying Plant?

I am a renter and have a good-size area to garden, which is rare in NYC. The previous tenants left daffodils and highly invasive ivy (or is that redundant?). Several plants have come up recently. There is what appears to be the beginnings of a small flower, which I captured in one of the photos. Of course, these could just be weeds, I'm not sure. Do they look familiar to anyone?

Cheers,

I'm sorry, but the plant is virtually impossible to identify at this point in its development. If you can post more pics later, when it is blooming, it will help.

Try to get a clear close-up picture of the stems, another of the leaves, one of the flowers and one of the entire plant.

And welcome to the forum! Glad to have you with us! :)
