Need something for a shady corner

I have this area by my front door that I made a flower bed. Most of this area gets morning sun, except the corner. It gets no direct sunlight. Down the line from right to left, there is a boxwood (on both sides of my door), pink ground cover rose, barberry shrub, pink ground cover rose, & barberry shrub again.

I'd like to put something tall in the corner with color. Any suggestions? There are about 4-5 feet of space.

Ostrich ferns can grow in solid shade. They are looking beautiful right now with arched 3~4' fronds. Hmm. I don't have many completely no sun areas... My neighbor has a hydrangea against the north side of their house and I can tell rising sun would be blocked by a tree, setting sun would be limited by the fence but it still produces lots of gorgeous blue flowers.

A lot of the shade tolerant flowers are not tall - columbine comes in a whole variety of colors and bi colors, but it is kind of delicate in appearance and around 2 feet tall. Astilbe has showy flower plumes in white, pink, or read and gets around 3 feet tall and bushy. Goatsbeard is a native astilbe relative that gets taller and bushier, but only in white flowering. Bleeding heart has lovely valentine-heart shaped flowers in pink or white and can get to about 3 feet tall if it is thriving, mine are shorter than that so far.

If you want taller than that, I think you are thinking about shrubs. Hydrangeas are quite shade tolerant as are the laurels - azalea, kalmia, and rhodendendron. They all have beautiful flowers.
