I planted some Indigo from seed.

They are coming up.

It is a pretty plant, and has such pretty blooms in the spring (as pictured). After that keeps the foliage and I like to that it in the vase with daisies, yarrow, cone flower etc. It does just fine with neglect!

It is Baptista, false indigo. I think it has some of the indigo properties, though not enough to make it worth while to mess with as a blue dye. Real indigo can't take a freeze.

Enjoy, and it should just keep coming back about now.
