With out a plan

When I moved into the house just over 6 yrs ago I didn't have a plan on what to do with the back yard, it was a mess and kind of scary, there had been a pool there at one time and all I had is a big round sand pit and lots of weeds. I spent the winter working on plans for the yard I hated every thing I came up with, come spring I waited to see what came up and up came the weeds and lots of clover didn,t know what I was going to do, I just started to make flower beds to fill in the yard and keep the clover cut, the yard is still in the works but then I think every yard is still in the works. just a few pic of what I had to work with and what it looks like this past summer. after you look at the pic just out this link I think it came out great for not having a plan

I know this is a late post, but absolutely lovely! I am so jealous, I would love to take a wasteland and lovingly turn it into a beautiful garden!
