fall flower bed

Here's a couple pieces of the flower bed outside the living room window:

The fall color is sundrops (aka Missouri evening primrose, Oenothera fruticosa). A native wildflower and one of my favorites. Has beautiful bright yellow flowers in early summer and then this. One of the few non-shrubby flowers that actually gets fall foliage color.

dwarf azalea and beautyberry. I planted 4 of the azaleas in a semi-circle around the beautyberry. Eventually it will be a little azalea hedge in front of the taller shrub.
