Storing Oriental and Asiatic lilies

I was forced to dig up some of my asiatic and oriental lilies due to some construction. Have to store them for a month or so until they are done before I can replant. Can anyone tell me the best way to store them until I can replant? Maybe in the refrigerator? In plastic or loose in a box? I'm in zone 5.

Not in plastic! That keeps moisture in, which will tend to rot them. In a box with some sawdust or shredded paper would be good. You could put the box in your vegetable crisper, but any cool dry dark spot would be ok.
