Source for Mums

Does anyone know of a good source for mums that also lists the hardiness of the individual varieties? I love mums...and found a place called Kings Mums in OR, but they can't tell me what mums are hardy in my area (zone 5)though they said they do ship some to my state (Kansas). The gentleman I spoke with suggested I dig them up every fall...and store in my garage...which really sounds like more work than I want! Thanks for any info.

No you definitely don't want to be digging up your mums! There are varieties hardy down to zone 3. You are right it does depend on the variety/ cultivar. But any reputable nursery should be able to tell you the growing zones for that variety. I checked several on-line nurseries that have mums and all of them listed the growing zones for each variety. If you have a variety you are interested in, you could always look it up on line to find its hardiness range.
