Star of Bethlehem

Does anyone have any information on this flower? I think the correct name is Ornithogalum Thyrsoides. I saw it in bloom in an arrangement..really likes it...is it a perrenial, bulb, etc? Can it be grown in a home garden (zone 5)? Any information is appreciated.

I couldn't find a lot of information about these bulbs. I don't think they would survive a zone 5 winter, however. You would have to dig them up and store them in a protected, but unheated, space, I think.

I suggest that you look for the plant under the name of Ornithogalum thyrsoides, to be sure you get exactly what you want. You probably would not want to end up with this member of the family, although it might not survive a winter in your area, either.
