Help identifying a flower.

I really hope this works.... It was a beautiful flower, until it got hit by the weedeater - not holding a grudge against husband - really, I'm not :?

By the way, I have hired someone to help move this tree this fall. Yes, it is too close to the house. [/img]

Looks a little bit like what they call firecracker flower, but not exactly. Look up a picture of it and see what you think.

Looks like a redbud so make certain that enough soil is taken when you transplant it and amend the new hole with a dash of bonemeal.

I think it looks like a Penstemon. They're native to the US, come in a variety of colors, and are also known as Beardtongue.
