Hello from Delta,BC!:P

I would like to know if there any idea about "What is eating my Delia bulbs and baby delia plants?"

It's heart breaking to watch the little white shoots just came out of the bulb and in the next morning, they'd got eaten continually and I can't find any abuser around..

What do I do?

How can I protect them? I think the bug came in night..

Please suggest me how can i safe my babies..

Thanks a lot

Rabbits? Raccoons? Snails? Slugs? Groundhogs? Deer? And there are more that I *know* I'm forgetting at the moment.

We've had tons of discussions about these plant destroyers here at The Helpful Gardener. Just use the Search, on the upper left-hand corner of most pages, to find a few hundred of 'em! :)

And good luck on the dahlias.

Hello Cynthia :)

Thanks for the reply!

Just so happen last night, while I'm trimming the bush close by to my Dahlias, I found a huge(around 3 inch) and very fat slug which got vanish before I notice myself of what I just did. Have never seen that big, should have take a pic.

Actually I just give him a treat of my vinegar and salt along with my quiet spell. :D

As you suggest, I will definitely be still look for discussions about Dahlias around.

Cheers!
Mimi
