Could you please help me identify what flower this is...?

I thought these were weeds and pulled them but I think I may have made a mistake and they are actually flowers. Could anyone tell me what these are so I can read up on them and find out if I pulled a weed or made a mistake and pulled flowers. I bought my house a little under a year ago so I don't know everything that was planted by the family that lived here previously. Well maybe someone can help me with how I'm supposed to upload the pictures I took.

Please and thank you!!

Please tell me if you need another picture. The little ball like things at the top of the plant had very small yellow flowers about a week or two ago. They grew to be about 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall. Thanks for the help.

I looked at all four photographs. Unfortunately, each of them is out of focus, making plant identification difficult, if not impossible.

Please try again?

Try that picture please. It is in much better focus and you can see the arrangment of the leaves and the little green ball things at the top that had little yellow flowers on them before.

Thanks for the help,
NG

Not at all certain, but maybe a type of loosestrife? You could Google for images and see if any of the loosestrifes match the flowers your plant had.
