Hello Helpful Gardener,
I'm looking for a list of flowering plants, both annuals and perrenials that tolerate the black walnut toxin and will grow well with them. We have a dozen in our yard, and it has proven to be difficult to landscape successfully.
I look forward to your post!
Maureen

Try looking in the wildlife garden forum under the permaculture thread. There is a list of plants that will grow in the allelopathic bath of Juglone that walnut trees secrete.
Off the top of my head, I believe that very few annuals will grow in the presence of a walnut tree so, I think that you'll mainly be looking for perennials. Anyway, take a look at the thread.
