Does anyone know anything about these plants?

Some people call them bush-type morning glory. They are an annual.

I tried to grow them the past 2 years and even though I enjoyed a few blooms, the plants were very small and disappointing. I've seen some wonderful pictures online of them and I would like to try them again this year. I think I may try to start them indoors this time and get a headstart. They are supposed to like dry, heat, sun and poor soil and that is what I've always gave them, but the plants never grew bushy or anything, just small, weak things with a few pretty flowers, short lived.

Hi Chad! All I know about Convolvulus is that it is also referred to as a Dwarf Morning Glory, and is a close relative to the common "bindweed". It blooms in pink, blue, purple and rose, with a bright yellow throat. The flowers only last on day though, so constant deadheading is needed.

They are not fussy about their soil, as long as it is well drained and the like full sun.

That's about all I know about them. There are a few different varieties, but I don't know their names. Maybe someone else knows more .........

Thanks, that may be one of my problems, I never deadheaded. I don't like to do that to pretty little flowers, but if it must be done, so be it.
