petunias refusing to bloom anymore?

i have a 6 foot planter box of petunias that has been planted for about 6 weeks now. they are amazingly healthy, and growing out of control. i have been deadheading them once every 3 or 4 days. all of the individual plants, except 1, are constantly in full bloom.

however, on one specific plant, it refuses to bloom anymore. i've checked, double-checked and triple-checked for seed pods i may have missed on the plant, but there are none. it is still beautiful, and fantastically strong, just absolutely no flowers.

is there anything else i can do to promote blooming? should i prune it back drastically? rip it out and plant a new one?

it's been flowerless for 10 days or so...

edit ps: watering once every 2 weeks with 12-12-12 fert.
