Various plant and flower care

Hello I live in Spain and have various plants and flowers growing in large ceramic pots what is the best way to feed them

Liquid like Miracle Gro but make certain you don't do it in the heat of the day.

Some of us would suggest a fish hydrolysate, or other organic source as much better for plants and the environment, but to each their own...find what works for you the best...

The fish emulsion is wonderful stuff, but only if you don't have cats! My experience was that the smell (even dilute) drove the cats crazy and they dug up all my plants trying to get to it.. :) Other organics are bone meal, blood meal, kelp, alfalfa or cottonseed meal... Check the labels, a lot of commercial fertilizer manufacturers are putting out organic versions these days. Start a compost pile! (See the compost forum for lots of ideas)

I found a fish hydrolysate blended with mint oil that I like; almost no smell!
