Ideas for 600' of border plants

I have a good 600' of border that I want to be packed with flowers and color for the entire growin season. I have established 'hedge' plants that would be behind everything. I'm really looking for the wow factor in terms of so many flowers and so much color, etc.

Problem lies in that I'm not sure what flowers bloom at what times without reading each packet. And of course this is not pratical as I am talking about possibly hundreds of different flower types.

I am able to grow seeds in a greenhouse if needed. I don't know if just throwing out those bulk seed mixes is going to achieve what I'm after or not?

I am in Idaho - zone 6 or 7 I believe.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate!
