I am a new member and would appreciate some advice on identifying a root or stump in my garden. I'm not sure which it is.

I have a picture but don't know how to post it on the forum. Can anyone please let me know how to do it.

We are planning to turf the ground and I would love to dig up the root/stump but I want to be sure that it isn't a root from my nearby conifer hedge. I don't want to risk damaging it

You'll have to upload your pic to a hosting site. (I use Photobucket and Pixcentral. They're both good.) If you decide to use Photobucket, after you have uploaded your pic, just click on it in your album, then scroll down and copy the IMG code that you see on the right hand side of your monitor. Just paste that code into your message, and your picture should be displayed on the forum.
