spathipyllum
I have spathipyllulm and leaves are turning brown.
Mine get to the point of wilting too, but thats just because I forget to water them sometimes
Overwatering generally causes the leaves to turn yellow before turning brown. Lack of moisture/water causes them to just go straight to brown. Thats why more information would be helpful. Also, fertilizer or lack there of could cause a problem.
I've found that my plants like to be kept damp, and do particularly well in more humid spots in the house (right now they are in a bathroom, both for humidity and for cat protection). I've found that the two-piece clay pots meant to keep things moist but not wet for longer periods of time work very well with my plants. I'm not sure what the pots are called.
