I haven't harvested any celeriac so far in 2021. And, I've tried to clean them up before their photo was taken ... then, been inclined to delete the picture ;).

The celery root is out there and growing. Here's a Cooperative Extension photograph (cleaned up, some):

First ugly tomato of the year. I think this is called Cat Face but don't remember what causes this. None of the other 40 ripe tomatoes have this & none of the 40 or so green tomatoes have this. We can probably salvage a few bites, it is already leaking from the bottom so maybe it is rotted inside.

My black currant plant is not very good looking. The whole plant. The berries look good, but they are very black and unusual looking, so people sometimes comment on them.
This picture makes the plant look better than reality. This black currant is the least attractive plant in my yard.

How large are the berries? I have seen dehydrated black currents in the grocery store they are about the same size and look like raisins, I wonder if they are the same thing? I would like to have enough black current bushed to get 10 gallons of berries every summer. Did you grow that from seeds? How long did it take to grow that plant?

probably the same thing
I bought the plant start at the WSU extension plant sale
my starts were cut from mature plants
they grow roots easily
the berries are larger than blueberries and have lots of anti-oxidants
the largest berry in the picture below is 5/8”

I guess these carrots could be called ugly, in a certain sense, but I think they look charming in their cozy, close embrace. A bit shameless really; one of them looks quite exhausted.
