2017 Garden

For the first time ever I tilled the garden yesterday on February 22nd. Never in my life have I till the garden in February. Due to the absence of winter this year here in zone 5a I decided to do it. I may have to till it again in April or May just before planting to eliminate any weeds that will sprout by then.
We just had 6 days in a row of 60+ degree temps with 4-5 record highs set when the average high is 37*F for this area.
I was tempted to plant some radishes just to try my luck but decided not to. Normally mid to late April is radish planting time.

In these global warming times we are all going to have to adapt what we do....
