Just dropping a reminder to all those rose growers out there, that now (actually a little before) is the time when you should stop giving your roses anymore fertilizer, synthetic or organic. This is so that the roses do not put on any new growth to be damaged in the cold winter temperatures. It encourages them to slow down towards their dormant stage.
I know, it's hard to think about things winding down - but what can you do?
