I think my transplanted roses died is there hope
my neighbours gave me some rose bushes I have no idea what kind they are. I transplanted them last fall. they all look like they never made it except 2 have green and one looks like it is about to produce some leaves. do I wait alittle longer for them or is there no hope. any suggestions. they are in full sun. I live in Saskatchewan Canada and our winters are very cold here.

I don't have enough experience to give you advice about your rose bushes, but I wish you luck with them.
I planted my first rose bushes this spring and they seem to be doing fine - rosa rugosa. I planted them so I can get rose hips. I added bonemeal and bloodmeal to the soild when I planted them. They have many leaves but no flowers yet. I planted some garlic with mine because I read that garlic is good for them. I will plant more garlic, to surround them in the fall.
