Rose bush growing sideways?

I'm hoping that someone can help. We were given a few rose bushes as a gift and we are not aware what kind they are. This Spring is probably the third year we've had them and they are flourishing. The problem is, it seems like they are leaning completely over to one side like they either don't have enough dirt at the bottom or they are completely top heavy.

Is this normal, do some rose species just grow this way, or do we need to get some solid soil around the bottom to give it some support? Do we need to clip it to give it some relief on the weight.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you please post some pictures? It's pretty hard to tell from a written description.

Yes, pictures would help.. Hmm. I wonder if you have climbers??? If so, you need to support them and NOT cut them back..
