Year old climber has great legs, No Blooms though!

It's called a C.E. Tropicana, climber of course :) It gets 6 hours afternoon sun, plenty of water, love and affection (organic compost, sand, manure) Haven't pruned it since no blooms have occurred. I am at a loss for what it could be. This is one of my roses that has withstood blackspot, mildew and even those dang silk worms courtesy of mother nature each spring for two or three weeks :D Anyone have a clue they could lend over this way? Thanks.

It's still a baby.

1st year they sleep, 2nd year they creep, 3rd year they leap. Patience, it will come around. And climbers are notorious for taking their sweet time about their first bloom. Tropicanas are tough, just keep doing what your doing and it will bloom and go like crazy! :0

Hey you're right :) I forgot about that, I just thought I'd get a bloom like my other babies. Thanks for the tips about climbers & Tropicanas :)
