I have a poorly rose

Hi :-()
A newbie here.
I have a rose cutting taken from a bunch of roses that my late husband bought me back in 2017.
How I have managed to keep it alive I don't know but it's picked itself up many times over the past five years. No idea what type of rose it is but it's kept in a container indoors. It's fed rose food every 3-4 weeks. It's water misted most days especially when it's sunny. The problem is the rose produces new shoots and leaves and for a while it looks healthy. Then the leaves dry up crispy and fall off. I suspect the culprit is an aphid of some sort as there are what looks like thick white webs have been spun where branches join.
It has produced about a dozen roses over the years and has two buds (but no leaves) at the moment.
I'd like to know what the problem is and appreciate any advice on how to rid of the problem and let my rose actually grow instead of alternating from healthy to ill.
