Help, advice needed

Hi, we have a beautiful rose plant that's very well established at the front of our house.
Unfortunately it looks like the wall behind it will need to come down and be rebuilt so I was wondering if I was to carefully dig out the rose, would I be able to replant when the new wall has gone back up.
Thanks for any help you can give me with this.

Where are you located? What is the current temperature range?

This would be safer if the shrub is dormant.

Hi, I'm in Manchester, UK and it's quite cold at the moment, quite frosty in the morning but it's starting to get warmer.
