Okay, so it's my first rose (8" high) but I'm delighted that one of the buds has opened. When it first opened it was almost all white with a TINY bit of pink. Now, three days later, the color is so nice! Lovin' it! I also got an Ebb Tide (no buds) and a Peace. Here's my little Peach Drift.

I think this must be a rose variety similar to one that I was just reading about: Star Drift Groundcover Rose. It is on my 'to-buy-next' plant list. What attracted me to it is that it is supposed to be disease resistant. I'm thinking about planting it on the corner of my yard with hopes that the vines climb the wire fence. People who walk by could stop and smell the roses.
Yours doesn't look like a groundcover rose, but I recognize the Drift name.

I was reading about plant chemistry and vibration of molecules a while back ( I can be a nerd sometimes ), and recall that the chemical for the scent of roses has a very high vibration compared to other scents. It is used in vibrational energy medicine. It was interesting to read about.

Thanks for the responses. Actually, the Drift roses ARE groundcover roses. It gets 1.5 to 2 feet high, and yes, it's supposed to be especially disease resistant, and that is one of the main reasons I bought one. I will post more pics when I have more blooms!
