mini roses in PNW

Hi,
I am moving in to a house with some miniature roses in the garden, and they are in sad shape. The previous occupant says that this is a recent problem: The new growth does fine, but then completely dies after a short period of time. So there are a few shoots of hopeful green, surrounded by a bunch of dead twigs. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem/solution?
Thanks

Hello Kaila,

Trim off all dead twigs with a clean cutter. Carefully loosen the top soil a little and water. Without any accidencet, it will kick off again. It should be a soil fungus problem, usually no treatment is needed.
